On Saturday the 4th of May 2019 15 cyclists completed the "7 County Cycle Challenge" to fundraise for Knockavoe School.
The cycle started at Knockavoe School in Strabane and finished in County Longford, some even went the extra mile to ensure the 100 mile target was achieved.
At a special assembly, Brendan Patton, Seamus Devine and Barney McNamee represented the 15 cyclists and handed over a cheque for an AMAZING sum of £3035.
Furthermore, Brendan Patton (BP Cycles) donated a folding bike as a prize to anyone who sponsored any of the cyclists. The winner of the fantastic folding bike was Paul Britton and the sellers prize went to our pupils Adam Davis and Joanne Davis.
