Class 5a made the most of the warm weather this week with lots of water play outside. From the paddling pool, to the water balloons, to the water shooters… it’s safe to say the pupils had a splashtastic time! Even the staff weren’t safe during our water fight!
With our Numeracy topic being Measure, this was a perfect opportunity for the pupils to practise measuring capacity, use measure vocabulary, and explore pouring/emptying containers and comparing size.
It was also a great opportunity to introduce Stage 3 in our Attention Autism sessions where the pupils are building on their turn-taking skills and shifting attention within a group activity.
