Going For Gold
Today is World Children’s Day, UNICEF’s global day for children, by children.
It marks the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and serves as a call to action for schools, communities, and institutions to engage with and support children.
The 2024 theme for World Children’s Day is “Listen to the Future”. We're encouraging the world to actively listen to children’s hopes, dreams, and visions for the future, promoting children’s right to participation. Children should be empowered to voice their opinions about the world they want to live in, and it’s all of our responsibility to listen and support their visions.
Today we celebrate our children as we do everyday in a shared vision of ‘Reaching for a Brighter Future’ 💙💛
We are also delighted on this day to share the amazing news that our school has been re-accredited us as a
UNICEF UK Gold: Rights Respecting School ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We are so proud and grateful to EVERYONE- staff, pupils, parents and community who play a vital role in everything we do!
