Well...the collection results are in and we can now announce that our fabulous pupils in Knockavoe managed to raise a VERY impressive £216 for Children in Need by taking part in our Dance-Athon held on 17th November.

Pupils and staff danced in the assembly hall from 9am until 3pm continuously!
We did the #chachaslide and we taught our students how to #rocktheboat. 💃🕺
We also had the pleasure of welcoming the pupils from Much Ado StageSchool to Knockavoe who performed stunning performances for us, and taught us all how to dance like #wednesdayaddams and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Jason Barr even dropped in to teach us how to jive!
On a more sombre note, we said "goodbye" to our Nora! Nora has worked in the kitchen at Knockavoe, cooking and serving lunch to all of our pupils for a great many years. Her efforts and dedication to the school have not gone unrecognised and she will surely be missed by all. Best of luck in your next adventure Nora. ❤️❤️❤️
The highlight of the day, was, of course, a special surprise visit by none other than PUDSEY BEAR himself! Our pupils (and staff) had great fun meeting and greeting the main man himself and we all had a bit of a boogie!
Thank you to all who helped us make our Dance-athon a success and to all our wonderful pupils and special guests. Once again, our Knockavoe community spirit shone bright!
