KS4+ Coffee Morning Assembly

17th Oct 2024
On Wednesday 16th October, our Key Stage 4 and Post-16 classes met for their first assembly of the year!
At Knockavoe, we value the rights of all of our pupils, as outlined by the United Nations in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. To celebrate Article 15: the right to meet with friends, we kicked our assembly off in style with a fun and inviting Coffee Morning, hosted and organised by the staff and pupils in FE1.
We had so much to celebrate during our assembly - the hard work of our pupils and staff was certainly evident.
We also celebrated our newly elected Student Council Representatives in the Key Stage, who will work hard this year to embody and promote Article 12: I have the right to be heard.

Congratulations to our council rep members: Eli, Mia, Zach, Eoin, Conor McE and Ellie-Jae!!

We also celebrated the appointment of our Knockavoe Senior Ambassadors. These pupils are in their final year at Knockavoe and are those pupils who we feel embody the values of Knockavoe and are true ambassadors for all that we do.

Congratulations to our Ambassadors:

Head Boy: Cormac
Deputy Head Boy: Sam

Head Girl: Seánán
Deputy Head Girl: Katie

Senior Prefects: Eoin, Ellie-Jae, Lewis, Conor R and Maeve.

We are so proud of the achievements and progress made by every single one of our pupils and were delighted to celebrate in their successes with them.
