Hello everyone.
My name is Sharon Cassidy and I am the new Principal of Knockavoe School and Resource Centre. I am absolutely delighted to take on this new role and to help and support you all. I hope you are all safe and well at home and settled in to a new routine. I have seen many beautiful photographs of you doing fun activities at home and hope to see many more.
Your teachers and classroom assistants are working very hard to come up with many different fun activities for you to do at home. I know that sometimes it can be difficult staying at home and not being able to see our friends but now more than ever it is important to follow the guidelines and to do what the government are asking us to do.
I look forward to meeting you all soon but in the meantime look after yourself and your family, be brave and keep smiling. Remember our mission statement: ‘Reaching for a brighter future’. That is what we are all staying at home for right now.
