Nurture Extravaganza

Christmas Cheer has truly spread throughout our school and we are beyond grateful to all family, friends and volunteers who have made it so special, magical and memorable for our pupils.

Friday was an amazing day!
The Sunshine room hosted their annual Christmas celebration! A long Santa list of thank yous is required to make such an event special…

Our staff- who go above and beyond to ensure that every event is just so special! So many helped make this day happen and it took months of planning to make our dream of bigger and better come true! Staff stayed late in school and came in extra early to help! You are amazing! 

Our amazing friends from AllState who returned this year to provide the children with a wonderful room decorated with lights and magic! The volunteers came to the school during the week to decorate and prepare goodie bags for all the children and delivered these as elves and mascots on the day! We are so grateful for their time and donation made to the event for all staff and pupils and can’t wait for next year ❤️❤️

FAST- our very own wonderful parents and families who decorated the rainbow room and created the most magical Santa’s grotto. You are all amazing and spent the day with non stop fun and laughter for all the children who visited! A very special addition this year also was The Polar Express ❤️🎅🏻
On the day all pupils received a selection box from Santa which was provided by our Friends of Knockavoe! Thank You so so much!

A massive thank you to Clodagh from Castle Coffee, Castlederg who ensured all staff were treated to a hot drink- the most delicious hot chocolates, coffees and tea ☕️ 
These drinks were then delivered by special AllState elves 🎄

MuchAdo Stage School, Castlederg kindly provided us with their amazing Christmas inflatable mascots for the day and these were a huge hit!! Thank You!

Kidzfarm- another amazing experience for the children who enjoyed meeting the animals and showing care for them on their visit!

Sensory Play- an amazing event organised by the staff in our hall were all pupils enjoyed fun and games in an array of sensory ways!

It was a day to remember and we were also joined by pupils from many schools- to help, sing, play and join their parents in our school to see how magical and special each staff member and pupil is in Knockavoe!
Shared Education was indeed inspiring!

Santa!!! Who spent the day meeting every pupil and talking to everyone! He was surely exhausted and deserved all his cookies and milk 🎅🏻🍪 We even noticed Mrs Claus had stitched on some new gold on his coat this year with a K for Knockavoe xx

A long but very important post as we end the year!
We are beyond grateful for our pupils, staff, parents, families and all those who volunteer, raise funds and donate to our school in so many ways! 

The smiles on our pupils faces make everything that extra bit more Special!
