Rare Disease Day 2023
Rare Disease Day is observed every year on 28 February (or 29 in leap years)—the rarest day of the year. This year as part of Rare Disease Day, Knockavoe School are going to raise awareness, vital funds and celebrate and support the amazing people living with Rare Conditions, some of which attend our school (Article 23 UNCRC, The Right to Special Care).
We are going to have a Rainbow Day this Tuesday 28th February. On this day pupils can wear a bright coloured top to school. This can be any colour. We hope to create a lovely rainbow of colours to show our support. We also ask that you donate £1 if possible.
Thank You for your Support
