Knockavoe had a busy and exciting week on the week of St Patrick's Day with a range of multi-cultural celebrations.
On Wednesday 16th March some lovely students from Holy Cross College displayed an Irish dancing showcase including jigs, reels and hornpipe dances....costumes included!
On Friday 18th March Megan, Barney, AnnMarie and James visited us to play some Ulster Scots music accompanied with Highland dancing!
Our students loved the various music and dance pieces over the 2-day celebration and even had the opportunity to join in at the end!
Many thanks to Holy Cross College, Bready Ulster Scots at the Sollus Centre and to AnnMarie Devine for coming along to Knockavoe for what was a truely enjoyable St Patrick's Day celebrations for 2022.
