On Wednesday we welcomed the Ulster Orchestra back to school for a wonderful afternoon 🎶🎼🎵🎻🎺🎷
The Ulster Orchestra offers tailored interactive workshops to introduce and explore orchestral music and the orchestra. Our vision is to inspire and nurture a love and greater understanding of all facets of music creation and its impact on mood and imagination. Our aim is to take people of all ages on a journey of discovery, interlaced with live performance of well-known music from TV, film & gaming. The workshops are immer- sive audio-visual experiences which can include transforming a hall into a full theatre with video and image on screen to enhance and reinforce understanding. Much of the music is accompanied by imagery and pre-recorded backing tracks to immerse the listeners in musical texture.
